Bryant Park

New York, NY

BRV oversaw the turnaround of a park dominated by drug dealers and other criminals into the most vibrant park in New York City.  Winner of over two dozen design and management awards and cited in numerous books and articles as one of the world’s best urban parks, Bryant Park is a huge success from both a design and financial viewpoint. The park created over $3 billion of value for its abutting real estate owners and serves as an international model in placemaking.

Salesforce Park

San Francisco, CA

Salesforce Park, set on the rooftop of Salesforce Transit Center, is a transformative 5.4 acre park in the massively redeveloping Transbay neighborhood of downtown San Francisco. The park sits four levels above the ground, and offers an urban oasis in a garden-like setting, with constant activity with a robust calendar of daily programming and events. The park opened to record crowds in August 2018. BRV was selected in April 2017 to run the park as the park’s managing entity.

The park currently hosts 18 – 20 regularly scheduled programs a week, including fitness classes, children’s programming, craft classes, literary workshops, bird watching, and live music – all free and open to the public. The attendance for these programs varies greatly, from small writing classes with 12 participants to large community events that draw upwards of 1,500 people.

BRV also manages all park marketing and revenue generation, including private event rentals, film shoots, sponsorships, and more.

Union Square

San Francisco, CA

In 2024, BRV received a grant from the San Francisco Office of Economic and Workforce Development to breathe life back into this historic plaza and counteract the narrative of a neighborhood in decline. BRV executed an activation plan with a strong emphasis on free public programming and “always-there” amenities that launched in 2025, curating a diverse lineup of offerings by forging partnerships with hyper-local businesses, non-profit groups, and cultural institutions. The Square currently offers 14 regularly scheduled programs a week, including fitness classes, children’s programming, craft classes, chess workshops, cultural performances, and live music – all free and open to the public.

Over the pilot year in 2025, BRV played a key role in revitalizing Union Square by introducing new amenities and hosting 429 free programs, from weekly fitness classes and kids’ activities to crafts, chess, cultural performances, live music, and Cinema on the Square film screenings. These programs engaged more than 800,000 participants and boosted daily plaza visitation by 13.7%, with visitors surveyed reporting a 99.3% satisfaction rate. The City of San Francisco extended BRV’s contract to continue programming 7 days a week year-round through 2027, ensuring continuous activations that complement seasonal neighborhood events.
