Justin Winters

Justin Winters is a Principal Landscape Architect at Wintergreen Landscape Studio, a design firm specializing in urban design, workplace environments, university campus design, park master plans and custom residential. As a project manager leading teams on complex, high-performance developments, Justin has an established track record of working with clients, consultants, and contractors to achieve world-class projects. He is currently supporting BRV on the development of a new signature community park within Dallas’s historic Fair Park.

Prior to his collaboration with BRV, Justin worked for 12 years with SWA Group, serving as a Principal in their San Francisco and New York City studios and leading notable projects such as the new Golden State Warriors’ Arena and Entertainment District. Beyond design, Justin works to advance the profession through research, teaching, mentoring and lecturing. In 2013, he was co-recipient of the Patrick Curran Fellowship to explore the role of landscape architects in shaping the next generation of green cities. His work and research reflect a strong belief that landscape architects play an essential role in developing sustainable, humane solutions to society’s collective challenges.

Justin earned a Master of Landscape Architecture from Cornell University and is a licensed Landscape Architect in New York, Connecticut, Massachusetts and California.
