Jeff Barker is the Founder and Principal of JBarkerAdvisory, LLC which provides strategic and philanthropic direction to companies and individuals.  

 He spent 28 years at Bank of America, where he served as the New York State President, a position that was concurrent with his other operating assignments. Jeff worked across the state to connect businesses, families and individuals to the banking and investment teams to help improve their financial lives.

As the Local Market Segment Executive for Bank of America’s Metro Markets, a position he attained in 2015, Jeff worked with fellow Market Presidents and their teams in 33 cities.   Approximately $60 Million of valuable community support was delivered annually by Jeff and his team.

From 1995-2015, Jeff was responsible for the 500 consumer banking branches in Metro New York . Working with a team of 14 District Managers and 4,500 bankers, his market, with $165 Billion in deposits, was the equivalent of the 20th largest bank in the county.

Prior to joining Bank of America, Jeff ran the Eastern Division of Barnes and Noble, managing 140 stores in 17 states.

In both 2020 and 2021, he was honored by City and State Magazine as a “Responsible 100”.    He also is the 2024 Community Service Honoree of the New York Yankees Foundation.

Jeff is a graduate of Cornell University, where he achieved a BA, and then earned his MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
