BRV was hired by the City of Sioux Falls, SD in Winter 2023 for consulting on the design and programming of a new public space being built in the city’s beloved Falls Park. Thanks to a generous local donor, a brownfield site adjacent to Falls Park will be redeveloped into Jacobson Plaza – an exciting public destination offering an ice ribbon, warming house, dog park, and universal playground.

BRV reviewed design plans and cost estimates from the operational perspective, and then made suggestions to ensure an efficient and programmable plan to serve many generations of South Dakotans to come.
