Faneuil Hall and Quincy Market have become a major tourist attraction since their rebirth as a festival marketplace in the 1970s. To capitalize on this growing district, new owners of the property aimed to reposition the marketplace as an attraction for local residents, as well as visitors. BRV was retained by Ashkenazy Acquisition Group to develop and operate new programming, and design seating, lighting, wayfinding, and retail strategies to modernize the marketplace, while highlighting its history.
