BRV consulted the Friends of the Public Garden on generating new sources of revenue for ongoing management, maintenance, and restoration of the Boston Common. In the May of 2012, BRV led the turnaround of the historic Brewer Fountain Plaza section of the Common, introducing movable furniture, programming, and a concession. The Boston Common, an anchor of Fredrick Law Olmsted’s Emerald Necklace park system, is the nation’s oldest public park, dating back to 1634.
