BRV was hired by Oxford Properties in June 2021 as part of the redevelopment and reinvigoration of the Sony Center near Potsdamer Platz in the center of Berlin. Oxford engaged BRV for community surveying, a programming plan based on the community desires, and design guidance for Peter Walker Partners’ Landscape Master Plan for Sony Center’s public spaces.

The aim of the redevelopment is to create lively and attractive public spaces at the Sony Center that will draw office workers, Berliners, and tourists, increase dwell time, and be a cherished space that is a hub of authentic Berlin culture.
