Nancy Marshall is Senior Consultant for BRV Corp. and President of NJM Retail Consulting, where she focuses on assisting retailers and developers in the leasing, merchandising and management of mixed use retail projects. Having spent 38 years directly involved with major NYC real estate development projects, Nancy has hands on experience with public/private partnerships as a seasoned development manager.
Nancy was formerly Director of Retail Leasing & Property Management at Grand Central Terminal in New York City where she directed all day-to-day asset management functions. Under Nancy’s supervision and management, Grand Central Terminal generated revenue in excess of $35 million annually in retail sales. During Nancy’s tenure at Grand Central, she oversaw the implementation of a $250 million renovation which included; base building design and construction, the approvals process by both the NYC Landmarks Preservation Commission and the NY State Office of Historic Preservation, the ongoing financial management of all retail revenues and expenses, the implementation of a robust leasing/merchandising plan and tenant design/construction coordination, as well as marketing/promotions, public relations and planning of commercial and cultural events.
Prior to Grand Central, Nancy was Director of Retail Leasing at Olympia and York where she supervised the leasing and tenant management of 200,000 square feet of retail space at World Financial Center. Nancy began her career at The Rouse Company developing and leasing the historic South Street Seaport in lower Manhattan.
Nancy is a NYS Licensed Real Estate Broker, a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers and was named one of the Top 100 Women in Real Estate for the Twenty First Century by Real Estate Weekly and the Association of Real Estate Women. She holds a BA in Urban Planning from Wheaton College.
