Alyssa is the Program Manager for BRV’s newest venture, Fair Park, located in Dallas, Texas. Alyssa has spent over ten years creating, building, and implementing robust programs and events in the great state of Texas. Reaching new audiences, removing public access barriers, and creating engaging and fun programs is a true passion of hers.
Prior to BRV, Alyssa was the Director of Programs and Engagement at an art museum and managed the public facing entities including the visitor experience and museum educator teams, all public programs and community outreach, and the creation and operation of the museum’s art studio. A common thread with her work is engaging and building relationships within the community and finding new ways to bring people together whether it be through large-scale annual festivals, recurring audience specific workshops or drop-in, free play experiences.
Previously, Alyssa served on the events and content team of an international event association and managed their extensive live and digital event portfolio as well as the reputable CMM certification program. In a couple of different capacities, Alyssa worked for a NCAA Division I athletics department for a few seasons managing a variety of marketing, event, and sponsorship elements, ranging from overseeing gameday activities to announcing soccer matches.
Outside of the public programs, Alyssa mentors students at a local arts magnet high school and is a foster with the a few different animal rescues and shelters around the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex.
Alyssa holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Texas A&M University.
