BRV consulted Central Atlanta Progress on how to best turnaround a troubled downtown park that had become dominated by the homeless and was perceived as dangerous. After extensive site observation and analysis, as well as interviews with stakeholders and potential park visitors, BRV recommended minor design changes and a comprehensive reprogramming of the park.
BRV also created annual expense and revenue budgets, as well as guidance for governance and day-to-day management. BRV’s plan is currently being implemented by Central Atlanta Progress and has already been praised as a success in the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
