Rich Wilson, Project Analyst Rich Wilson is a project analyst with BRV Corp. He holds a Master of City Planning degree from the University of Pennsylvania’s School of Design, with a concentration in Urban Development and a Certificate in Real Estate Design and Development. He also received his Bachelor of Landscape Architecture degree from Kansas State University. Mr. Wilson has worked on several BRV projects in Pennsylvania and New Jersey: creating activity and generating revenues for Rittenhouse Square in Philadelphia; the planning and building of an entirely new streetscape for downtown Newark; consulting Princeton University on the public spaces of its new Arts and Transit Neighborhood campus expansion; and advising on creating an exciting pre-game environment in the public spaces around the Prudential Center in Newark, among other projects. While not working with BRV, Mr. Wilson is a vice president in the Haverford, Pennsylvania office of Arcadia Land Company, a progressive real estate development firm focused on implementing projects using Smart Growth principles and building walkable communities in the Delaware Valley region. He has played a key role in building Arcadia Development Services, the consulting division of Arcadia Land Company. Arcadia has become a trusted advisor to numerous property owners and lending institutions in need of land development consulting services. Mr. Wilson manages development due diligence, market analysis, and financial analysis for clients’ land development projects across the Mid-Atlantic region. Mr. Wilson previously worked as a landscape architect and urban designer with HNTB Corporation’s Urban Design and Planning group in Dallas, Texas, where he was involved with numerous large scale projects requiring high levels of public involvement, including the Fort Worth Five Corridors Commercial Study, producing revitalization plans for five distressed inner city commercial corridors; corridor revitalization studies for the City of North Richland Hills and City of Houston; and, the Camp Bowie Streetscape Master Plan in Fort Worth, Texas. Mr. Wilson was a key team member in the creation of the Trinity River Comprehensive Land Use Plan, focused on a 20 mile river corridor through the City of Dallas, which included the analysis of new transportation and park infrastructure’s impact on development and new land use typologies within the city. In addition, he played key roles in the comprehensive planning efforts for multiple municipalities in North Texas. He is currently an active member of the Urban Land Institute’s Philadelphia District Council and co-chair of the Young Leaders Group |
