George Roberts, Project Analyst George Roberts is a Project Analyst at BRV. He holds a Graduate Certificate in Real Estate Development from the Stephen M. Ross School of Business and Taubman College of Architecture and Urban Planning at the University of Michigan, and a Bachelor of Arts in Urban and Metropolitan Studies, also from the University of Michigan. At BRV, George has worked on activating and redeveloping historic parks, and planning and developing new public spaces. George has advised real estate developers and not-for-profit organizations on the programming necessary to create a lively public space and worked with programming partners to enact programs. He has also worked with clients to develop and implement revenue generation strategies. In addition, George has an active role in the management of Chelsea Improvement Company; a neighborhood improvement company founded and operated by BRV in Manhattan?s Southwest Chelsea Neighborhood. As part of a University of Michigan course in Washington D.C., George authored a plan to invigorate Dupont Circle through the formation of a business improvement district on the behalf of property owners in the neighborhood. Prior to joining BRV, George worked in real estate development in New York. During this time, George was responsible for converting a vacant school in Harlem into an active complex of art studios and exhibition space. George is a member of the Urban Land Institute. |
